Panelists

Annet Dekker (chair) I’m a curator/researcher interested in digital art, online curating and speculative archiving. Annet has worked extensively with issues around archiving born-digital art, and her thoughts on federated networks for preservation and care of archives connects her work to this session.

Lozana Rossenova Designer and researcher working with digital archives and LOD. Lozana has worked with the pioneering Wikibase project, the Rhizome Artbase, and is focusing on open-source and community-driven approaches to digital infrastructure. Currently exploring the potential of Wikibase to be used as core infrastructure within the project NFDI4Culture in Germany.

Ranjit Menon I am a designer who has been active in CC summit last year as a tech support and an archive enthusiast. Ranjit is involved in an ongoing series of discussions around the archives related to the E.A.T. project in India. The discovered archives speak of control, preservation, value, and access to archives.

Miranda Siler Miranda Siler is the Project Lead for the E.A.T + LOD Project at the Semantic Lab at Pratt. A wonderfully simultaneous initiative at the Pratt Institute is creating a Wikibase repository of the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation Archive School of Information | EAT Linked Data Modeling  wikibase-docker

Mariana Ziku Connecting digital, traditional and open culture in the Balkans. Mariana has been coordinating the Biennale of Western Balkans and seeking solutions for preserving and sharing intangible heritage in the networked environment.

Dalton Martins Information Science researcher. Dalton is involved in creating Tainacan, an open-source, powerful and flexible digital repository platform for WordPress. It would be interesting to hear about the reasoning behind the design choices of the platform, and avoid project presentation.
